Our bride Faye wanted a silky champagne off the shoulder wedding dress for her summer wedding in Sorento, Italy.
The process started with a consultation with Faye to discuss the kind of dress she was looking for. We spoke about some different ideas and I went away and produced some sketches.
We also discussed different fabrics that were available in the colour Faye was looking for. She decided on our luxury champagne gold silk to give that matt shiny finished.
Once we had taken Faye's measurements, we made a pattern and a resulting toile (an initial prototype of the dress) for Faye to try on. The toile was made to Faye's measurements so that we could gauge the fit of the dress on her before making the finished article.
As a result of the first fitting session, we made a few tweaks to the pattern before making the final dress.
Faye loved her wedding dress and here are the photos of her on her wedding day.
